Job summary

Algonquin College is seeking a Part-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) for Parking, Lockers, and Card Services at the Woodroffe Campus in Ottawa. The role handles inquiries, clerical tasks, and ID card processing, ensuring accurate and friendly service to students and staff.

Reporting to the Parking Services Manager, you will assist with admissions information, fee deadlines, U-pass eligibility, and issue refunds or transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year certificate in business, office administration, marketing, or related industry.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience may be accepted in place of formal education.
• Minimum three years of practical experience in a high-demand client-service setting in an educational institution or equivalent.
• Work experience in a complex detail-oriented, customer service-driven computerized office setting.
• Experience in Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Providing information on admissions service availability.
• Fee structure and payment deadlines for infractions.
• Eligibility requirements for U-pass and specific parking requirements.
• Responding to complaints and emergencies.
• Assisting clients with online and in-person services.
• Updating Parking waitlists.
• Validates student information and processes student and staff identification cards.
• Conducting parking and locker withdrawals.
• Initiating transfers.
• Issuing refunds. Manual intervention with failed online registrations.
• Provide information on service availability including Parking, waitlists, and appeals, Lockers, AC Card, Alumni and U-Pass programs.
