Open Door Group in Edmonton is seeking a Client Service Administrator for our Community Centre. This casual, on-site role handles front-line customer service, data-entry, and administrative tasks to keep our centers running smoothly.

The position involves greeting clients, guiding them to services, scheduling appointments, answering calls, and supporting the Centralized Administration team when needed. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12; Office Administration Certificate preferred.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire).
  • Recent, related experience of one year.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must provide a satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and provide a warm welcome; direct to appropriate services.
  • Handle inquiries, support service applications, and orient clients to centre resources.
  • Perform data entry, maintain resource centre information, and schedule appointments.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls; provide coverage for Centralized Administration as needed.

Job description

Open Door Group (ODG), a mission-driven non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for a Client Service Administratorto join our team!

Status: Casual

Hours of Work: up to 36 hours per week on an as needed basis

Wage: $26.27 to $27.99 per hour

Location: The primary work location is Open Door Group Edmonton Employment Centre at Suite 500, 10150 - 100 Street NW, Edmonton.

About the Role:

The Client Service Administrator is the primary point of contact for customers visiting and contacting Open Door Group centers. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience to a diverse clientele by providing a warm welcome, effectively navigating clients to appropriate services, responding to inquiries, supporting service applications, and orienting clients to the center's resources.

The Client Service Administrator also plays a critical role in supporting the center's operations by performing administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining resource centre information, scheduling appointments, answering, and directing incoming calls. This role may also provide support by covering the duties of the Centralized Administration team.

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator who can deliver exceptional, client-centered service to a diverse clientele in a fast-paced environment. They will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and other standard software applications. Highly organized and adaptable, they will excel at navigating clients to appropriate services, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day center operations.

What you bring to the position:

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12;
  • Office Administration Certificate;
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire);
  • Recent, related experience of one year;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
  • Or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
  • Must provide a satisfactory criminal background check.
