Job summary

Fincentify, Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our client-focused CPA practice serving individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping for U.S.-based clients under U.S. GAAP and tax rules, using QuickBooks Online to keep accurate records.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ bookkeeping experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and strong Excel skills, with a ProAdvisor certification highly preferred.

• GAAP knowledge
• Strong Excel and Office skills
• Attention to detail and organization

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Record and maintain financial transactions
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings
• Identify discrepancies and suggest process improvements
