Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor in Canada to help clients choose the right habitational, travel, and auto coverage. You will deliver outstanding service with a proactive sales approach while maintaining product knowledge and timely renewals.

The role requires 1+ year of Personal Insurance experience, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume team. A Level 2 General Insurance license is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience.
• Desire and proactive ability to deliver exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced team environment.
• Keen eye for detail and high sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales initiatives.
• Industry designation would be considered an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma).

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand and advise on their insurance needs to help develop the best coverage needed in all things Personal Insurance (habitational, travel, automobile)
• Follow-up regularly on sales leads and referral prospects
• Process and conduct renewals and ensure policies are processed and issued accurately in a timely manner
• Achieve sales and retention goals and targets
• Maintaining a high level of knowledge in all our Personal Lines and Auto products through continuous education and learning opportunities

A day in the life –

Salary Expectations – The expected salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
