Job summary

HUB International in British Columbia is seeking a Branch Team Lead to guide and motivate a service and sales team within a leading North American insurance brokerage. You will coach staff, drive performance metrics, and support operations while collaborating with management to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and organizational skills, with salary in the CAD 50k–60k range and comprehensive benefits. On-site in Sicamous, BC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years insurance brokerage experience, with some leadership experience preferred.
• Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Support operational reporting and manage team targets and performance metrics.
• Assist the Branch Manager (or oversee objectives in their absence) and ensure daily service commitments are met.
• Answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, answer phone inquiries, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in creating processes.
• Maintain relationships with employees to ensure quality service standards are met.
• Other job responsibilities as required.

Salary Expectations – The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
