Job summary

HUB International in Canada is seeking an Auto Insurance Trainee who will drive client relationships and sales growth. You’ll receive full training and support to earn your Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days.

Build relationships with clients and dealership partners, promote ICBC and private insurance, handle renewals and policy changes, and contribute to a high-energy team focused on results. Salary range reflects location and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Level 1 Insurance License is an asset—but not required.
• No insurance experience? Training provided.
• Commitment to obtain the license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners.
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets.
• Process auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, and payments.
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance.
• Support the branch by handling phone calls, administrative tasks, and restocking inventory.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners.
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more.
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics.
• Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory.

Salary Expectations

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
