Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Auto Insurance Trainee for our New Denver branch with the potential to support Nakusp. This part-time role includes full training to obtain a Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days and a focus on selling auto insurance solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.

You’ll build client relationships, promote ICBC and private auto products, and handle various insurance transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Level 1 Insurance License is an asset but not required.
• Full training provided to earn Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private auto insurance products.
• Meet and strive to exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Process insurance transactions such as renewals, plates, transfers and cancellations.

This is a part-time position based out of our New Denver branch, with the potential to pick up additional hours at our Nakusp location.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners


• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets


• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more


• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics


• Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory

Salary Expectations –

The expected hourly rate for this position is $19.70 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
