Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member in Dartmouth to turn incoming deliveries into smooth stock flow. You will unpack, sort, and move products using equipment and keep shelves stocked with accuracy.

Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, processing paperwork, inventory control, and job-related tasks that keep store operations efficient. RONA offers benefits, training, and advancement opportunities.

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Computer entry of orders receptions
• Price change and display
• Locate and relocate the merchandise
• Inventory count
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
• Good physical condition is an asset
