Job summary

Dexterra is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning services across assigned buildings. You will supervise staff, ensure high cleanliness standards, and respond to client requests to maintain quality.

Reporting to the Account Director, you will ensure safe operations, train new staff, and manage scheduling. This on-site role requires flexibility and readiness for varying shifts to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning environment and supervising a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Adapt to operational changes as required.
• Flexible start and end times as needed, weekend and statutory holiday work may be required.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout the buildings.
• Prioritize and respond in a timely fashion to all client requests.
• Inspect the work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance is at the expected levels.
• Assist with site training of new cleaning personnel.
• Train and implement Health & Safety procedures and ensure PPE is available and properly utilized.
• Maintain time keeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow up.
• Responsible for inventory control and the daily operations.
• Support the Preventative Maintenance Program.
