Job summary

Autism Services in Saskatoon invites applications for a team-based role supporting participants in the Kii Kinaahk Village. The position focuses on ensuring clean suites, modeling positive behavior, and promoting socialization opportunities under guided supervision.

You will collaborate with management and maintenance for make-ready cleans, report issues promptly, and support daily life skills programs to help participants manage clean-ups and maintain safe living spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and start goals with tenants to keep suites clean and organized.
  • Assist with pest control prep, by bagging items, and cleaning floors, kitchen, and bathroom. Removing garbage and cleaning laundry.
  • Keep common areas clean, door(s), handles, walls, windows, railing, and stairs.
  • Work with management and Maintenance for make-ready cleans.
  • Report any maintenance needs to management.
  • Work with the Life skill program, guiding tenants with how to manage clean-ups.
  • Act as role model and mentor to Participants and interact in a positive and supportive way.
  • Fulfill all reporting requirements as required and in a timely manner.
  • Report any damage in the building/suites to the Supervisor.
  • Other duties as they are assigned.

Job description

Basic Functions:

Performs several ongoing responsibilities within a team structure and team guidance and specific duties as listed in your employment letter.

The main job is working with participants, in suites and building cleanliness. Act as a role model and mentor to Participants of Kii Kinaahk Village and provide opportunities for socialization.

Interact in a positive and supportive way with tenants in following the Peer Support Code of Ethics.
