Manitoulin Transport is seeking an independent owner-operator to support its Saskatoon terminal for local pick-up and delivery. The partner will operate under the carrier's safety and fleet insurance programs, with requirements for a Class One license and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, adhering to Hours of Service rules, and maintaining regulatory compliance. A forklift ticket, TDG/WHMIS credentials, and references are considered assets.

Job Description

We are looking to onboard an independent owner-operator to join our team in support of the Carrier's transportation needs and to service its customers. This Owner-Operator will be granted the option to operate under the Carrier's Nation Safety Code and Fleet Insurance Program.

Business Opportunity

We wish to partner with an independent incorporated business to provide a current model truck and qualified operator to provide local pick-up and delivery services within the service area of the Saskatoon Terminal.

The Services require business flexibility but are generally required over 5 days per week and may include some weekends. Operational flexibility is a must.

The qualified operator is responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements, including Pre and post-trip inspections of equipment, and may include the delivery of periodic dock services to load and unload freight as required.

Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the services contract.

The Business must provide WCB Coverage to its Operators
