Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking an independent owner-operator to join its Saskatoon team to handle local pick-up and delivery services within the Saskatoon terminal service area.

The role requires a Class One license and about 1 year of experience, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time service. Some dock duties may be involved, and a criminal record check plus references are required.

Qualifications

• Class One License and 1 year of driving experience are required.
• Familiarity with Hours of Service regulations is preferred.
• Criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and references may be needed.
• TDG and WHMIS knowledge considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight within the Saskatoon service area, adhering to company policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Operate within the Carrier's safety and regulatory framework.
