Job summary

Clean Harbors in Calgary or Red Deer is seeking Professional Vac/Combo Vac Class 3 Drivers to join a safety-conscious team. You'll operate and drive combo vacs, straight vacs and related equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and support site operations.

The role includes performing pre- and post-trip inspections, communicating with dispatch, and performing occasional roadside repairs while maintaining and cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Class 3 license required.
• Experience driving manual transmission.
• Prior Semi-vac experience required.
• Ability to operate Combo units, Hydrovac, Wet vac, Trailers, Tankers is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Combo Vac and straight Vac along with other equipment to and from work sites.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous goods safely.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers.
• Conduct roadside repairs as needed.
• Maintain and clean company equipment.

Clean Harbors is looking forProfessional Vac/ Combo Vac Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious team in either Calgary or Red Deer!

Our experienced EO/Drivers may also operate wet vac trucks, trailers, tankers, combo units, hydro vacs, and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving a Combo Vac and straight Vac other equipment to and from work sites;
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods;
• Performing pre and post trip inspections;
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers;
• Doing roadside repairs as needed;
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a Class 3 license.
• Experience driving manual transmission.
• Prior Semi-vac experience required.
• Ability to operate Combo units, Hydrovac, Wet vac, Trailers, Tankers is an asset.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to work a nightshift and travel of out town if needed.
• Willingness to complete a drug test, and physical.
