Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class AZ Dry Van Driver based in Edmonton, AB. The position covers routes from Edmonton to Kimball, NE, averaging 2400–2600 miles per week and comes with a pay mix of hourly non-driving time and mileage compensation.

The role offers bi-weekly home time, competitive annual pay ($80–$110K), and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, RRSP matching, paid time off, training, and tuition reimbursement. Fast Card is required.

Qualifications

• Class AZ CDL with at least 12 months of AZ driving experience.
• Valid Canadian Passport and Fastcard is required.
• Willingness to cross-border trips to the US and work in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety as the top priority while driving and handling loads.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste safely and secure cargo.
• Placing placards per DOT requirements and maintaining accurate logs and reports.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class AZ CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class AZ driving experience
• Valid Canadian Passport
• Valid Canadian Fastcard REQUIRED
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
