Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional/ Class AZ Tanker Driver to join our Winnipeg, MB team. The role involves hauling hazardous and non-hazardous waste, with weekly home time and a route from Winnipeg to Ontario and Alberta.

Compensation includes hourly wages and mileage pay, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Health benefits begin after 30 days of full-time employment, and employees have access to RRSP matching, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Class AZ CDL, TDG, and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class AZ driving experience.
• Valid Canadian Passport.
• Valid Canadian Fastcard.
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US.
• Ability to effectively use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and follow safe work practices.
• Operate tractor-trailer units.
• Load/unload and secure hazardous and non-hazardous cargo.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional/ Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Winnipeg, MB! This route runs from Winnipeg, MB to Ontario and Alberta and averages 2000-2400 miles per week.

About The Role

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
