Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Regional Class AZ Dry Van Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Edmonton, AB. The route runs from Edmonton, AB to Kimball, NE, averaging 2400–2600 miles per week, with bi-weekly home time.

Drivers earn an estimated $80–$110K per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly on-duty time and mileage pay; comprehensive health benefits after 30 days and RRSP with company matching are offered.

Qualifications

• Class AZ CDL.
• Minimum 12 months of Class AZ driving experience.
• Valid Canadian Passport.
• Valid Canadian Fastcard REQUIRED.
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Adheres to weights and proper loading/unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Placards vehicle according to DOT requirements/regulations.
• Ensures safety is the top priority and follows safe work practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS
