Job summary

Safety-Kleen is seeking a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver based in Breslau, ON. The role involves hauling re-refined and used motor oil to customer sites and Safety-Kleen locations, including cross-border trips to the US.

Expect 55–60 hours weekly with a union wage structure and passport required for cross-country routes. The position emphasizes health and safety, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, RRSP eligibility after three months, paid training, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Class AZ CDL is required.
• Minimum 12 months Class AZ experience.
• Minimum 3 months Tanker experience required.
• TDG and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed).
• Valid Canadian Passport required.
• Able to use mobile apps and computer software.
• Must be willing to perform cross-border trips to the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority in all tasks.
• Transport re-refined and used motor oil by tractor-trailer tanker.
• Collect fuel loads and water materials to recycling centers.
• Adhere to weight limits and proper unit utilization.
• Plcards vehicle per DOT requirements and company policy.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, expense & trip reports, and inspections.

Job description

Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Breslau, ON. This route runs from Breslau, ON to various site-disposal locations including Cross border into USA (PA, OH, NY, NH, RI, IL, IN, MI,) QC. M-F Approx. 55-60 hours a week wage $35.26. PASSPORT REQUIRED.

• Union position
• Travel away from home 2-3 days a week
• Union hourly wage of $34.32

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit
• Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS
