Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises LP is hiring experienced Class 3 Operators for an Imperial Oil site (Kearl). TDG knowledge and at least 3 years of manual transmission and Combo Vac experience are required. The role offers 14 on/14 off shifts, camp and flights from Edmonton or Calgary, and the chance to work with a dedicated team.

Operators must be mechanically inclined, physically fit for all weather, and able to complete daily documentation and safety checks as part of a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years manual transmission experience.
• TDG knowledge is required.
• Previous experience operating Combo Vac units.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Combo Vac units.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks in all weather.
• Complete daily documentation (logbooks, work orders, risk assessments, pre/post-trip inspections).
• Follow instructions from Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform daily housekeeping.
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings; follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate all company tools and equipment to required standards.

Job Summary:

Operating from our Imperial Oil site (Keatl), this position involves the safe operation ofseveral types of Class 3 units. Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous experience in the industrial sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Combo Vac units.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in allweather.
• Completion of daily documentation, including but not limited to dailylogbooks, customer work orders, field-level risk assessment, and pre/post-tripinspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of the assigned truck to ensure maintenance of the companyimage.
• Attend dailytoolboxand safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards andprocedures.
• Ensure that all training is keptcurrent.
• Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards andregulations.
• Seek out continuous improvementopportunities.
• Provide customer-focused services in allactivities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Class3 driver’s license with a clean driver’sabstract.
• Minimum 3years of experience, including up to 18 speed manual class 1 or 3 equipment.
• Previous or relatedexperience operatingComboVac units.
• Minedriveexperience is anasset.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Good, Daily Trip Inspections, Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta, Weights and Dimensions, Cargo Securement for flatbeds, WHMIS, and H2S Alive.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, Drug and Alcohol and fit for duty pre-employmentscreening.
