Job summary

NSSL is a family-owned business providing short-haul and shunting services with over 20 years of experience in North America. We are looking for Class 1 shunt drivers for night shift to transport loads between load and dock, perform routine vehicle checks, and ensure safety and cleanliness of trucks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license and a clean driving abstract.
• Efficient trailer back-up and parking skills.
• At least 1 year of trucking experience; shunting experience is an asset.
• Clean criminal record and ability to work in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Operate shunt truck trailers between load and dock.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Transport loads safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all company rules, regulations and policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Using Shunt truck trailers between Load and dock.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks.
• Transporting loads safely and efficiently
• Abide with company rules, regulations, and policies.
• Ensuring vehicle is maintained clean.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 license
• Efficient trailer back-up and parking skills
• 1 year trucking experience (Shunting experience an asset)
• Clean Abstract, and criminal record
• Able to conduct work in a safe manner.
