Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Safely perform shunting duties within the terminal, including trailer spotting, trailer swaps, and yard coordination.
• Move equipment between loading docks, yard lanes, and designated staging areas.
• Ensure accurate trailer placement to support smooth freight flow and on-time dispatch.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractors and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, dock staff, and operations teams to support daily scheduling needs.
• Keep assigned equipment clean and in good working order.

What You'll Need to Drive with Team Armour

• A valid Class 1 license with no restrictions, and a clean driver's abstract.
• Proven ability to operate manual transmission trucks, with recent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years driving a tractor-trailer
• Strong understanding of yard safety, trailer handling, and backing skills.
