Job summary

Vertex Resource Group Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 or 3 Operator for work in Nisku, AB. The role requires experienced Vac/Steamer, Combo-Vac and Straight-Vac operators with valid safety tickets and a willingness to work out of town.

Accommodation is provided when out of town and benefits commence after a 3-month probation. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, documentation, safety compliance, and delivering excellent service while meeting DOT and hazardous materials requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or 3 drivers license with 1-2 years of experience operating Vac/Steamer, Combo Vac’s and Straight Vac’s
• Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)
• Clean commercial drivers abstract
• Minimum of 1 year within the oilfield experience
• ELD logbook experience
• Possess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety tickets
• Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
• Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
• Integrity and reliability, willing to accept out of town work when applicable/necessary

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
• Comply with Company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, Department of Transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements and regulations
• Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheets
• Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rulesPerform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
• Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
