Job summary

Vertex is seeking Class 1 and 3 Operators to join the Pressure and Vac field team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Operators will work rotational schedules (24/16 or 14/7) and operate a variety of equipment including Semi-Vac, Combo Vac, Straight Vac, Tanker, Steamer, and Pressure Trucks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license.
• 3–5 years of experience with Semi Vac, Combo Vac, Straight Vac, Tanker, Steamer, and Pressure Trucks.
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices.
• Willingness to accept out of town work when necessary.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license
• 3-5 years of experience with relevant equipment (Semi Vac, Combo Vac, Straight Vac, Tanker, Steamer, Pressure Trucks)
• Clean commercial drivers abstract
• Drug & Alcohol Testing (provided by Vertex)
• ELD logbook experience
• H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety tickets
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and manage time/productivity
• Good health and physical condition
• Willingness to accept out of town work when necessary
