Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of Combo/Semi-Vac operating experience.
• H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO tickets.
• Clean Drug & Alcohol testing as provided by Vertex.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate combo and/or semi-vac units for industrial cleaning and waste removal.
• Perform vacuuming of liquids, sludge, drilling fluids, and debris from tanks, pits, sumps, and vessels.
• Use high-pressure water to break up solids before vacuuming.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Complete daily logs, dispatch reports and time sheets on time.
• Follow all local, provincial and federal regulations and company guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Observe safe operating guidelines and environmental health and safety policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
• Operate combo and/or semi-vac units for industrial cleaning and waste removal
• Perform vacuuming of liquids, sludge, drilling fluids, and debris from tanks, pits, sumps, and vessels
• Use high-pressure water systems to break up solids before vacuuming
• Control vacuum hoses, boom systems, and valves safely during operations
• Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheets
• Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
• Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines

Candidate Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean commercial abstract
• Minimum 2 years of Combo and/or Semi-Vac operating experience
• ELD logbook experience
• Possess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety tickets
• Clean Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)
• Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
• Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
• Integrity and reliability, willing to accept out of town work when applicable/necessary
• Knowledge and experience in Pulp & Paper, Thermal and Oil & Gas considered an asset
