Qualifications

• Flat Deck experience required.

• Comfort operating a handheld computer device.
• Comfort operating a manual pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Perform local city LTL deliveries and pickups in Kamloops and surrounding areas.
• Operate various tractor-trailer combinations as needed for deliveries.
• Travel between Kamloops terminal and customer facilities within service area.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure freight is delivered safely and on time.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain delivery logs and paperwork.
• Represent Van Kam with a customer-first, professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing local city LTL deliveries and pickups in Kamloops and surrounding areas.
• Operating various tractor-trailer combinations based on delivery needs.
• Traveling between our Kamloops terminal and customer facilities within the service area.
• Conducting pre-trips, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Ensuring all freight is handled with care and delivered safely and on time.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with dispatch and customers.
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Representing our company with a customer-first, professional attitude.

What gets you in the driver’s seat

• Have a minimum of2years of P&D experience
• A valid Class 1 Driver’s License (a must!)
