Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of P&D experience.
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Flat Deck experience required.

Comfort operating a handheld computer device.
Comfort operating a manual pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Perform local city LTL deliveries and pickups in Kamloops and surrounding areas.
Operate various tractor-trailer combinations as needed for deliveries.
Travel between Kamloops terminal and customer facilities within service area.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Ensure freight is delivered safely and on time.
Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.
Maintain delivery logs and paperwork.
Represent Van Kam with a customer-first, professional attitude.
