A leading transportation company in Whitehorse is seeking a Class 1 driver for a full-time position. This role includes driving to Watson Lake with competitive pay of $38.07 per hour while driving and a $34.60 on-duty wage. The ideal candidate will possess a Class 1 license and have at least 3 years of driving experience, with additional experience on Dempster and Mountain routes being an asset. Full benefits and a profit-sharing program are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, average day of 11-12 hours.

Job Description

This is a full-time Class 1 line haul driving position with a departure time of 15:30 daily from Whitehorse, Tuesday to Saturday. Drive to Watson Lake and return. An average day is 11-12 hours. Pre-trips, post-trips, and mid-trip inspections.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license

• 3 years of experience Min

• Dempster and Mountain experience an asset

• Reliable and dependable

• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets

• Must provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
