Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking an experienced Class 1 Flat Deck Super B driver based in Saskatoon. You will perform pick-ups and deliveries primarily in the Saskatoon area, with nightly home time and occasional overnight trips.

Responsibilities include safe cargo transport, load securing, tarping, logkeeping, and adherence to safety regulations. Candidates must have a Class 1 license and at least 2 years of flat deck Super B experience.

Qualifications

• Class 1 License required.
• Minimum 2 years of flat deck Super B experience.
• Load securement knowledge and competency.
• Tarping experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of electronic logbooks and logs management.

Responsibilities

• Perform flat deck Super B pickup and deliveries primarily in Saskatoon.
• Home nightly with occasional overnight trips.
• Ensure safe and efficient transportation of cargo and proper load securing.
• Tarps and secures loads according to industry standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with regulations and company policies.

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Flat Deck Super B driver.

• You will be responsible for:
  • Performing flat deck super B pick-ups and deliveries primarily in the Saskatoon area.
  • Home nightly withan occasionalovernight trip
  • Ensuring safe and efficient transportation of cargo.
  • Properly securing and tarping loads according to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic logs and documentation, adhering to all transportation laws and company policies.
  • Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
  • Planning optimal routes and managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
  • Handling loading and unloading of cargo when required, maintaining a clean and organized truck cabin and flat deck.
  • Adapting to changing weather conditions and road situations, demonstrating flexibility in work schedule.
  • Participating in ongoing safety training and professional development programs.
  • Class 1 License
