Job summary

Manitoulin Transport, part of the Manitoulin Group of Companies, seeks a Class 1 Full Roamer Driver in Saskatoon, SK. The role covers linehaul/LCV and pickup/delivery across locations, with up to 1–3 weeks away from the home terminal. Roaming includes hotel and travel coverage when applicable.

You’ll need a valid Class 1 license, 2 years of Class 1 experience, and flexibility for varied schedules. A strong safety record and a willingness to train for mountain routes are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
• 2 years of Class 1 experience (LCV qualifications).
• Mountain qualified (will train the right candidate).
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and routes.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain focused during long drives.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Able to provide a Criminal record.
• 5 years Drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

• Cover driver needs as required in various locations throughout our network (roaming).
• Drive linehaul/LCV or complete pick up and delivery of goods.
• Based in Saskatoon, may be sent away for 1–3 weeks to another location; hotel/travel costs paid.
• Roaming duties include coordinating travel, lodging, and meals when away from home terminal.

We are hiring a “Class 1 Full Roamer Driver” based out of our Saskatoon, SK terminal. This position covers driver needs as required in various locations throughout our network. You will need the ability to drive linehaul/LCV or complete pick up and delivery of goods.

You will be based in Saskatoon, SK, but we may send you away for (1-3) weeks at a time to another location. When you are “roaming” in another area, we will pay the hotel costsand travel costs (if using your own vehicle).
