As the Major Events Field Claims Representative II, you will investigate, negotiate, and settle intermediate habitational, farm, and commercial property claims related to major events. You will also support claims operations by handling regular property claims when major events and claim volumes are reduced.
How you will create impact :
- Investigate, interpret coverage, negotiate, and settle major event property claims and regular property claims.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality claims settlements, including on-site damage evaluations, estimate preparations, and cash settlements.
- Coach, train, and provide technical support to the claims team.
- Conduct initial client calls, determine coverage, review building appraisals, and arrange payments and settlements.
- Deliver exceptional client service aligned with our standards, aiming to position the organization as an industry leader in client engagement.

To join our team :
- Have at least three years of experience in insurance, business, or a related field.
- Possess or be working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
- Be working towards licensing in PEI, NB, and NL.
Additional considerations :
- This position mainly interacts with non-francophone groups and teams outside Québec, requiring proficiency in English. Non-French duties are not assignable to other team members.
What you need to know :
- You will travel during major events; extended time away on short notice is possible.
- You need your own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required during peak periods and major events.
- You will support clients experiencing personal or financial loss, requiring confidentiality and discretion.
- You will work virtually with a high degree of autonomy.
- A background check and MVR will be required if you are successful.

Expected Salary Range : $59,000 to $98,000
- The salary will be determined based on various factors, including market conditions, location, knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education.
