Job summary

CGIC in Ontario is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims professional to investigate and resolve complex claims with autonomy, engaging claimants, lawyers and witnesses as needed.

You will coach and support the claims team while delivering exceptional client service aligned to our standards, contributing to our leadership in client engagement and industry reputation.

Qualifications

• Three years of claims or related business experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma.
• CIP designation.
• Provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
• Currently holds or working towards CIP designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and making decisions autonomously, to resolve complex bodily injury claims.
• Contacting claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
• Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
• Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.

To Join Our Team

• You have three years of claims or related business experience.
• You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
• You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
• You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
• Currently holds or working towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.

Salary information

Expected Salary range $60,574.00 to $100,956.00 CAD

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
