Job summary

CGIC is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims professional to join our team in a regular full-time, hybrid role. You will investigate complex claims, interpret coverage, negotiate outcomes, and interact with claimants, lawyers and witnesses.

You will coach colleagues, provide technical support, and deliver client-centric service aligned with our quality standards to maintain industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Three years of claims or related business experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma.
• CIP designation is required or pursued.
• Provincial adjuster licenses depending on the province of work.
• CIP designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and making decisions autonomously to resolve complex bodily injury claims.
• Contacting claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
• Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
• Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards.

How You Will Create Impact

To Join Our Team

• You have three years of claims or related business experience.
• You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
• You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
• You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
• Currently holds or working towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.

Salary information

Expected Salary range $60,574.00 to $100,956.00 CAD

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
