About the Program:

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Claims, New Graduate Rotational Program. This program is designed for students who are either about to graduate or who have graduated within the last two years. The program provides recent graduates with a comprehensive understanding of core functions within Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance claims. Participants will gain valuable experience and develop a broad skill set in claims management, leadership development, customer service, and more through structured rotations across different areas of the business.

The program includes a structured learning plan, social opportunities to connect with others in the field, and access to business leaders for mentorship. Learning through experience, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business from the start.

Upon completing the program, you'll have advanced business knowledge, new skills, insights, and excellent growth opportunities. You are expected to continue your career within one of the rotational areas.

Program Duration: Two years — four placements of varying lengths in designated business areas.

Business Areas for Rotation: Automotive/Property Claims, Accident Benefits, Bodily Injury, Business Intelligence, Vendor Management, Special Investigations Unit, Subrogation.

Role Expectations:

  • Help investigate, evaluate, process, and settle insurance claims, including auto, property, injury, and liability claims.
  • Assess claim validity by reviewing policy terms, coverage, and evidence to determine insurer liability.
  • Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Negotiate fair settlements in collaboration with claimants, lawyers, and other parties, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications, investigations, and settlements.
  • Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, and Legal departments to review policies, ensure compliance, and close claims.
  • Provide empathetic support to claimants, explaining coverage and processes, and addressing concerns.
  • Manage multiple claims efficiently, resolving disputes and analyzing data for patterns and concerns.
  • Apply ethical principles to ensure fairness and integrity in claims handling.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in business, economics, science, criminology, psychology, insurance, or relevant discipline.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Willingness to obtain Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and adaptability to change.
