Job summary

Alberta Motor Association (AMA) in Canada seeks a Claims Care Associate to guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy. You’ll answer inquiries, manage claim intake, and drive each claim to closure across multiple channels in a hybrid Calgary or Edmonton setting.

You bring a high school diploma, outstanding telephone and computer skills, and a customer-service mindset. Knowledge of claims procedures or insurance is a bonus, and ongoing education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Supervisor, Claims Care Team.
• Answer inquiries, intake, and manage each claim to closure through multiple channels.
• Responsible for rental management, total loss and cash settlements, processing payments, subrogation, and some administration tasks.
• Adhere to claims handling practices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure claims handling practices adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements.
