Job summary

Gee Bee Construction Co Ltd. is seeking an Estimator / Project Coordinator / Site Inspector to join the Heavy Civil Division, reporting to the Division Manager on municipal and infrastructure projects across Saskatchewan from tender through close-out.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or Construction Management background and 5+ years in heavy civil construction or related fields, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or Construction Management background.
• 5+ years in heavy civil construction, consulting engineering, or municipal infrastructure preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project, or GPS/LiDAR experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Estimating: quantity take-offs, subcontractor/supplier quotes, cost estimates, bid prep.
• Project support: scheduling, cost/progress tracking, coordinating subs and suppliers.
• Construction admin: shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, change orders, project records.
• Site inspection: site meetings, quality/progress monitoring, quantity verification.
• Survey work: GPS, drone LiDAR, rod/level (training provided; prior experience an asset).
