Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in heavy civil construction.
• Field experience and applicable degree/diploma are assets.
• Registration with ASTTBC, ASET, EGBC or APEGA is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze project drawings and specifications to produce accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Develop project schedules and construction methodologies.
• Collaborate with Estimating and Operations teams to deliver competitive bids.
• Understand heavy civil contract models and review terms.
• Demonstrate knowledge of earthworks and concrete work, often in remote locations.
• Adapt to changing project environments and requirements.
• Lead proposals and tenders under guidance of Estimating Manager.

The Senior Estimator will play a pivotal role in preparing proposals and tenders, working closely under the guidance of our Estimating Manager. Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in heavy civil construction is preferred.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software.
• Field experience, technical diploma, or engineering degree is considered an asset.
• Registration with ASTTBC, ASET, EGBC or APEGA is an asset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Project.
• Skilled in change management and adaptable under pressure.
