Job summary

CIMA+ Saskatchewan is seeking a Construction Inspector/Surveyor to join our Transportation team, working with local professionals on public and private sector projects. You will conduct field surveys, manage construction QA, and support project delivery with precise data and documentation.

Preferred credentials include a Civil Engineering Technology diploma and experience with GPS/Total Station/3D scanning. We offer a hybrid work model and a collaborative environment committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and layouts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction administration services including contractor management, quantity tracking, site inspections, QA and site supervision
• Execute field surveys including topographic surveys, slope staking, construction layout and quantity surveys using GPS
• Prepare and maintain client-specified construction records and as-built drawings
• Assist with stakeout information for field use (corridors, alignment, linework, points and surfaces)
• Assist engineers in technical tasks requiring accuracy and adherence to methods
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and project cost estimates, and interpret construction contract specs
