Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician in Red Deer, Alberta to contribute to land development project design and delivery.

Use AutoCAD Civil3D to draft construction drawings and support lead designers in roadways, utilities, and site grading. The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers, engineers, and construction staff, with occasional field work.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Office-based role with possible field work seasonally.

Responsibilities

• Draft construction drawings, figures and deliverables using AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Lead designer in geometric roadways, utilities, and site grading.
• Design surface, sanitary, storm and water networks as needed.
• Prepare plan/profile drawings and submittals.
• Perform quality control of drawings and coordinate with project team.
