Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician for the Red Deer office to contribute to land development design and delivery. You will draft construction drawings, assist or lead geometric designs for roadways, and design water and sewer networks using AutoCAD Civil3D, collaborating with project teams in a dynamic office environment.

The role primarily operates in-office with occasional fieldwork, offering growth through multidisciplinary exposure on municipal and industrial

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD Civil3D and other tools to draft construction drawings and deliverables.
• Assist or lead the geometric design of roadways, utilities, and site grading.
• Prepare plan/profile drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and field staff.
• Perform field work as needed and ensure timely, quality submittals.
