Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in British Columbia seeks an Intermediate Civil Technologist to join multidisciplinary teams delivering civil design for infrastructure and land development projects.

You will support civil models, drawings, and construction-ready packages across multiple project phases. You will collaborate with engineers and project staff, applying BC guidelines and software like AutoCAD, Civil3D, and AutoTURN.

Qualifications

• Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma.
• Minimum of 5+ years of directly related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform complex civil engineering-support and design tasks on assigned infrastructure and land development projects, including civil models, alignments, grading designs, stormwater, utilities, and drawing packages.
• Prepare and support designs through all stages from conceptual to construction-ready, including support during construction administration and field review.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to advance designs, resolve issues, and support permitting and approvals.
• Broad civil design experience across municipal roadways, utilities, public space, and major infrastructure sectors; familiarity with BC municipal guidelines and local approvals.
