Position Purpose summary:
The Christmas Toy Shop Worker provides support to the Community and Family Services during the Christmas season on a temporary basis.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a temporary, full‑time position. Shifts may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and split shifts, Monday through Saturday. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour unpaid meal break. Flexibility in scheduling is required, as the hours may increase as per operational requirements. Working environment is typically in the office in generally agreeable conditions. Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs. (10 kg).

Education, Qualifications and Certifications

Completed High School or equivalent.

Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements

A minimum of one (1) year of prior related experience working in community-based programs would be a definite asset.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $21.84 with a maximum of $26.20. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
