Lindt Canada is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager for our Lindt Chocolate Shop at The Boardwalk in Kitchener. The role focuses on leading daily store operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving sales in a dynamic retail environment.

The ideal candidate has post-secondary education, strong communication skills, and at least five years in retail, including supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• Excellent communication and sales skills are essential.
• Experience in retail sales with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
• Strong merchandising and product knowledge skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and supervision.
• Support growth of corporate sales and customer-focused service.
• Model exemplary service standards and manage staff performance.
• Monitor sales and labor to maximize profitability without compromising service.
• Assist with recruitment and interviewing of Retail Sales Associates.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and loss prevention measures.
• Reconcile cash and complete daily store administration tasks.
• Develop product and sales data knowledge to hit targets while controlling costs.
