Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli in the GTA is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations of our Lindt Retail Boutique and drive premium customer experiences. You will recruit and develop staff, manage inventory and loss prevention, and uphold service standards while maintaining store profitability.

You will focus on coaching teams, achieving sales goals, and maintaining product knowledge in a premium chocolate environment. This role offers growth in a global specialty retailer.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Post secondary education preferred.
• Sales oriented with ability to develop/build business.
• 2-5 years of retail management experience.
• Good time management habits.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities (French and English).
• Experience in merchandising or presentation capacity.
• History of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
• Talent for sales and selling.
• A passion for chocolate!

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique.
• Generate and drive corporate sales.
• Uphold exemplary customer service through modeling behavior and guidelines.
• Monitor sales and labour with a focus on profitability and service.
• Recruit, interview and hire Retail Sales Associates.
• Supervise staff to maximize service, sales and profit.
• Train sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Order merchandise timely with focus on inventory management and loss prevention.
• Reconcile cash with receipts and manage store administration.
• Develop product knowledge and focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses.
• Perform staff performance reviews and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain store merchandising to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and food/product safety standards.
• Handle cash, inventory ordering, and related duties.
