Active Start Childcare in Calgary is seeking Educators for Preschool and OSC programs at the Calgary South East Seton Active Start location. Candidates must have Alberta ECE certification (Levels 1–3) with experience, a current criminal record check with vulnerable sector search, and First Aid certification.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for Educators for our Preschool and OSC programs at our Calgary South East Seton Active Start location. We are looking for candidates who possesses a strong understanding of child development, exceptional engagement skills, and a dedication to fostering positive relationships with both children and colleagues. The ideal candidates will be dependable, adaptable, fluent in English, and exhibit outstanding communication and multitasking abilities. Prior experience is required, and candidates must possess Alberta Child Care certification levels 1 (with experience), 2, or 3, along with current criminal record check (with vulnerable sector search) and first aid certification.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Alberta Child Intervention Record Check.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta childcare licensing regulations and health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
