Job summary

Magic Mountain Child Development Centre is hiring multiple childcare Educators for permanent and maternity-leave coverage at Sierra Springs Magic Mountain locations in Airdrie. The role requires understanding of child development, excellent engagement and communication, and ability to work with children and colleagues.

Alberta Child Care certification levels 1–3, clear criminal record check (vulnerable sector search) and first aid are required.

Qualifications

• Prior childcare/daycare experience is essential.

About the Role

We are seeking multiple childcare Educators (permanent and Mat leave coverage) for following programs:

at our Sierra Springs Magic Mountain locations in Airdrie. We are looking for someone who possess a strong understanding of child development, exceptional engagement skills, and a dedication to fostering positive relationships with both children and colleagues. The ideal candidates will be dependable, adaptable, fluent in English, and exhibit outstanding communication and multitasking abilities. Prior experience is advantageous, and candidates must possess Alberta Child Care certification levels 1, 2, or 3, along with current criminal record check (with vulnerable sector search) and first aid certification.

• Implementing engaging programming tailored to the interests and needs of the children.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the environment.
• Leading and supporting children in integrated learning and recreational activities.
• Actively supervising and engaging with children while ensuring their well-being.
• Assisting in providing regular communication to parents.
• Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Active Start's policies and procedures to ensure quality care.

Qualifications
