YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is seeking a casual Child Care Supply staff member to support after-school and early care programs across multiple locations, including Angus, Barrie and surrounding communities. The role focuses on safe, play-based learning and daily care needs for groups up to 15 children.

Requirements include First Aid/CPR, Vulnerable Sector Check, immunizations, and availability for openings or closings. Strong communication and the ability to work outdoors are essential.

• Passion for working with children and providing quality play-based learning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with families, staff and volunteers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 kg and participate in physical activities.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care to children including toileting/diaper changes, first aid, medication administration and health monitoring.
• Ensure supervision and safety in a group setting up to 15 children.
• Plan and implement play-based learning per YMCA Curriculum.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with families, staff and volunteers.
• Provide an inclusive environment, supporting children with exceptional behaviours and additional needs.
• Demonstrate alignment with YMCA Mission, Vision and Values.
• Adhere to schedules, maintain ratio, and notify supervisor of schedule changes.
• Demonstrate flexibility with routines and schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
