Overview

We seek a dedicated, experienced Principal (Supervisor) to join our team. As the educational leader of our childcare center, you will play a central role in fostering a positive academic environment and supporting the growth of students, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and oversee all aspects of the school's operations.
  2. Plan and organize effective implementation of the Center's program.
  3. Ensure full compliance with Ministry standards.
  4. Address issues and implement recommendations from Ministry inspections.
  5. Develop and implement educational programs in line with academic standards.
  6. Enhance enrolment using efficient technology and social media.
  7. Support in managing school budget and financial planning.
  8. Mentor and support teachers and staff, including managing performance.
  9. Ensure student discipline and maintain a safe learning environment.
  10. Collaborate with parents, community members, and stakeholders to enhance the school's reputation.
  11. Develop internal controls and processes.
  12. Promote exceptional customer service for families and clients.
  13. Organize special events and client visits.
  14. Perform additional duties relevant to the post as assigned by the Director.
Requirements
  1. Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing.
  2. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in childcare.
  3. Valid, clean Vulnerable Sector Check.
  4. Current First Aid certification & appropriate medical and immunization record.
  5. Proficiency in English and French is an asset.
  6. Experience in fine arts and children sports, such as yoga, music, dance, is an asset.
References

Three references are required (at least two from childcare services).

  3. Budgeting and financial management experience in an educational setting.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong writing abilities.

Pay: $55,000-$60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
