Job summary

YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg is seeking energetic individuals to join our child care team on a part-time basis with flexible hours, no nights or weekends. You’ll engage children in activities, support their development, and enjoy a friendly, inclusive workplace during daytime shifts at our Winnipeg location.

We offer training and mentorship, paid benefit premiums where eligible, a complimentary Y membership, and a 5% employer-matching pension plan.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Training or experience with children an asset
• Willingness to obtain Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification (We'll help!)
• Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check (apply upon hire)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and participate in children's activities in a daycare setting.
• Maintain a clean and safe daycare environment.
• Be part of a supportive team and contribute to a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.
