Job summary

YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg is seeking a Child Care Supervisor for the School Age Program in Winnipeg, MB. The role oversees a staff team, develops and implements programs to meet children’s needs, and builds positive relationships with families.

The position is a split shift before and after school, seven hours daily (eight hours on non-instructional days). Manitoba ECE Level 2/3, staff supervision experience, and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Manitoba ECE Level 2 or 3 certification required.
• Experience supervising staff and leading teams.
• Experience with infant or preschool children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform administration duties and written documentation.
• Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification.
• Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check.

This position is a split shift position before and after school, 7 hours per day. Hours increase to 8 hours per day on non-instructional days.

The location is not located on a bus route.
