What will you be doing?
As anArea Director, you will be managing the daily operation for 6-8 assigned childcare centres. Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the daily operations of the assigned childcare centres to ensure they operate in accordance with the BrightPath & Alberta Licensing Regulations.
• Completing administrative duties such as audits for classrooms to ensure policies and procedures are enforced & setting action plans for centres.
• Building positive working relationships with families.
• Understanding the financials of the centres to meet their full potential.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education - Level 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
• 5+ years in relevant management role
• Strong leadership, time management, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills necessary
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
