Job summary

YMCA of Regina is seeking a Youth Program Staff to support a range of programs designed to build skills, confidence and connection for children and youth of all abilities. Opportunities include Child Minding, sports, sciences, arts and camps.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver engaging activities, ensure a safe environment through supervision, and collaborate with teammates to meet program goals while upholding YMCA values.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and creativity in program planning.
  • Proven leadership abilities including managing groups of varying ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR-C;
  • A Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search within 3 months prior to start date.

  • Create a safe, supportive and engaging program environment through effective supervision, coaching and mentorship.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and problem‑solving skills to manage daily tasks and program needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe program space by completing required housekeeping and sanitization duties.
